2 different versions of the DSMA-series turntables are currently available. Turntables of other diameters and greater bearing capacity ratings can be supplied to order. The standard DSMA model is 245 mm high to the top edge of the Multiplex covering.

The rotating platform comprises a supporting structure that has been designed as a screwable sectional steel construction. The top drawing shows a cross section through the rim area of a 5 m turntable without a perimeter skirt. The standard covering is a 25 mm layer tongue-and-groove type Multiplex material. The modular design of the system enables the installation of several runner races, thereby reducing the free span between supports according to the respective load. This type of construction allows us to realise solutions for the highest ultimate loads. The running race fitted just 250 mm away from the outer perimeter results in very little overhang - we guarantee a 2 mm run-out tolerance relative to an adjacent surface. The following table contains the rental turntables (diameter 3m/ 2,5t max. load up to diameter 30m / 60t max.load) that are in stock at the moment.
The running race has numerous adjustable feet that offer a very convenient means of levelling the construction. Made of high-quality polyamide, the rollers are encased in plastic, are spherically seated and, measuring 118 mm in diameter, are characterised by excellent smooth running properties. We can also supply Vulkollan-coated rollers for special applications in the theatre or studio sector. Although their motive power requirements are higher, these rollers guarantee extremely quiet running, even at high speed.
Type ......NL was developed from the standard version to meet the demands for a shallower model. With the same sectional steel platform construction, the overall height was reduced to just 185 mm to the top edge of the Multiplex covering by the use of a running race that is just 30 mm thick. Assembly of this turntable is somewhat more time-consuming than the standard version as special packing plates have to be fitted to compensate for irregularities in the underlying surface. This type is particularly suitable for permanent floor-level installations as it offers a shallow construction that does not make any sacrifices in terms of smooth running due to the fact that the standard-sized rollers are used.
