Our modular system
Bumat turntables are characterised by the following system components:
(1) |
Friction wheel drives with pendulum bearings and torque brackets that have been specially designed and built for our turntables. |
(2) |
A patented spindle with 3-dimensional adjustment facility, which guarantees even distribution of the load over all of the rollers arranged round the outer perimeter.
When a turntable is assembled for the first time, a laser is used to align the roller axes with the centre of the turntable in a similar way as on a car.
This ensures that the roller body rolls with virtually no wear at all. |
(3) |
High-quality prelubricated ball bearings combined with special rollers made of polyamide or Vulkollan. |
(4) |
Rollers that roll over the milled surface of the runner ring. |
